V60: A Full-Bodied and Clean Coffee Experience

The V60 is one of the most elegant and impressive methods of manual coffee brewing. With its 60-degree conical angle, coffee bed, and special paper filter, it’s a favorite for those seeking a coffee that is both full-bodied and clean.

Place the cup or server you’ll be brewing into on the electronic scale, and position the V60 on top of the cup. Fold the paper filter and place it inside the V60, then rinse it with hot water. This helps the filter stick, removes the paper taste, and warms up your cup.

Bardakta biriken suyu dökün ve hemen hemen tuz tanesi büyüklüğünde öğüttüğünüz kahveyi kağıt filtrenin içine yerleştirin.

Pour out the water that has collected in the cup, and add the coffee grounds, which should be roughly the size of salt grains, into the paper filter.

Before you start brewing, reset the scale to zero and start the timer. Pour 50-60 ml of water for the bloom. To ensure all the coffee grounds are fully saturated, gently stir with a spoon. You can repeat this process 3-4 times.

Starting at the 45-second mark, slowly pour the water in a circular motion, reaching a total of 250 ml. It’s important to pour the water gently and with control during this stage.

The average brewing time should be between 2:30 and 2:45 minutes. If you find the coffee tastes too strong and bitter, you can try a coarser grind. If the taste is weak and watery, consider a finer grind.

Your coffee is ready! Now you can enjoy it.

Note: Don’t forget to clean all the tools you used after brewing. Clean equipment ensures a fresh and pure taste with every brew.
