The Aeropress is one of the most preferred accessories for coffee lovers when traveling. By applying pressure, it brings out the subtle aromas of the coffee and offers you a complex coffee experience. Much faster than other filter coffee methods, the Aeropress easily fits in your bag, is unbreakable, and has a timeless design. If you want to impress those around you, the Aeropress is just for you!
Grind Your Coffee
Grind 15 grams of coffee to the consistency of sea salt. You can use a hand grinder or an electric grinder.
Prepare the AeroPress.
Place your AeroPress and pour the ground coffee into it.
Add the Water.
Slowly pour hot water over the coffee to start brewing.
Tip: Check if your coffee is fully saturated by looking at the sides of the AeroPress. For any dry spots, pour the water more aggressively to ensure all the coffee is evenly wet.
Brewing Time
Fill the AeroPress to the top with water and let the coffee brew for one and a half minutes. When the time is up, gently stir the coffee with a spoon, first back and forth, then side to side.
Prepare the Filter
Place the filter into the cap and wet it with hot water. This step removes the filter’s taste and helps it stick to the cap.
Press Time and Finish!
Close the cap, lock it, and flip the AeroPress onto your coffee cup. Slowly press down to ensure all the water filters through. Make sure the process takes about 20 seconds.
Your coffee is ready! Now enjoy this delicious brew.
Note: Don’t forget to clean all the tools you used after brewing. A clean AeroPress ensures a fresh taste with every brew.
